Well, not much has changed in the last 33 years, EXCEPT that I got better looking. . . . . .. . . So, here goes a recap: After getting out of Georgetown University and graduate school, I began working in medical and health care issues, where I have been ever since. I spent time in Washington as a Reagan appointee to a Congressional Commission which dealt with pharmaceutical R & D efforts. Also, I was the director of a Washington-based international medical research foundation for a number of years, working in the Philippines, China, and Thailand. The last ten years have been spent in New York, and recently here in California, doing mostly biotechnology and medical consulting. I have three daughters (Michaela, Kelly, and Christine) all out of school, or nearly, and one 13 year old son, Michael T., who is also a terrific kid. My bride of 15 years is Victoria Schauf, who is a pediatrician here in Ridgecrest, CA. We’re about 3 hrs. NE of L.A. in the high desert and at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, which are today snow covered courtesy of El Nino. This is a beautiful spot. We hold a Balloon Festival every Veteran’s Day (Nov. 6-8), and I’m the Vice Pres, so please consider coming on out with the family. MICHAEL W. DELANEY
