JACKY ROBIN CLYMAN

Spent my formative years in Madird-from late 1954 to 1965 although my parents stayed there till 1970. Graduated from MTHS in 1965 and went to the American College in Paris for two years. Managed to join New York University's Junior year abroad program in Madrid for 1967-68 and went to George Washington U to graduate in 1969. Some college experience! Worked for the State Department as a French and Spanish interpreter until I met Jeff, hubby #1..2.3 who was finishing law school at G.W. Worked briefly as a translator for The National Geographic Society and then moved to New York. We moved back to Washington D.C. while Jeff clerked for a Federal District Judge and right back to New York - ran a non-profit foundation sponsoring outstanding classical music artists and joined Jeff in running his new company: Avirex in 1978. Been doing that since in addition to having two wonderful sons - Scott (23) who is finishing pilot training in the Air Force and Mark Shawn (18) who is a Freshman at the University of Vermont. I continue to love to travel, read, go to concerts, museums and airshows. I still work for the Foundation which, in additon to helping those artists perform in concert halls, asks that the artists perform in prisons, old age homes, hospitals...all places where one would not normally hear classical music. I, of course, enjoy meeting up with old friends and have gotten hooked to the internet and e-mail. Too bad typing was my worst course in high school!
