JACKIE NAHODIL SMITH

After leaving Madrid in 65, I went on to Ohio State where I received a degree in Foods and Nutrition. I married my hubby Jim (also from OSU) and I started an internship in New York while he was in Nam. We lived for a while at Fort Dix when he returned and then moved to Long Island New York.

We have two sons. Brad is a health and physical education teacher who lives on Long Island and will be getting married next summer. Grant is an accountant who lives in Boston.

Presently I am the director of food and nutrition at a hospital that is part of a large health system. My husband is in retail sales for a recreational chain here on the island. In my spare time, I keep active in both the state and national dietetic associations.
